Speech Language Express Therapy Services is a pediatric speech therapy private practice in Culver City, CA, dedicated to helping children become confident and effective communicators. Founded by Tyonie Patterson, M.A., CCC-SLP, a pediatric speech-language pathologist and children’s author, our practice was inspired by years of experience supporting children and families in school, clinical, and community settings.​We provide individualized speech and language evaluations and therapy for toddlers through school-age children. Our services support speech sound development and articulation, receptive and expressive language, early language development, social communication, fluency, and AAC.

We use a child-led, play-based, and strengths-focused approach that incorporates each child’s interests while making therapy engaging, functional, and meaningful.​At Speech Language Express, we believe every child deserves to feel heard, understood, and confident expressing their wants, needs, thoughts, and ideas. Our goal is to meet each child where they are, celebrate their progress, and partner with families throughout the therapy process.​In addition to pediatric speech therapy in Culver City, we provide families with practical strategies they can use during play, reading, daily routines, and everyday interactions. We want the skills children build during speech therapy to extend beyond the therapy room and support meaningful communication at home, at school, and in their community.
